With de-facto ISIS capital now fully in the hands of the Syrian Army, the war against ISIS in Syria is slowly approaching an end.
On Sunday, units of the Syrian Air Force carried out series of intense strikes against ISIS fortifications and supply routes in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.
According to the field reports, the airstrikes were focused on targeting ISIS positions and gatherings in the town of Al Muhassan, as well as in the village of Boqrous Fouqani, and in the areas east of the village of Boqrous Al Tahtani and Al Bouleil.
Scores of terrorists were killed in the airstrikes, in addition to destruction of one of their armored vehicles and several of their vehicles, carrying machine guns.
