Syrian Forces have reportedly launched a new offensive in Hama province.
According to reports on the social media sites, linked to the terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir A Sham (Al Nusra Front), the Syrian Army has launched a new offensive in Hama countryside, passing through ISIS-held territories.
Russian airstrikes were also reported in the area.
In addition, the Syrian Army, while backed by the Air Force units, made huge advancements in direction of Abu Al Duhur Airbase, located in the eastern countryside of the northwestern province of Idleb. At least one Al Nusra Front HQ got bombed in the process.
Heavy losses are said to be inflicted upon the terrorists.
Abu Al Duhur Airbase was captured by the so-called “moderate rebels” on September 9th 2015. The base had been besieged by terrorists since September 2012.
