The elite Syrian Army unit known as the “ISIS Hunters”, has recently arrived in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, their official media reported on Monday.
According to an announcement on the official ISIS Hunters’ Facebook page, reinforcement units of the Hunters have already arrived in the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
The situation on the western bank remains tight – ISIS terrorist are shelling the Hunters’ positions nearly every day and have orchestrated several suicide bombing attacks so far.
The arrival of the elite unit will further help the Syrian Army and its allies to put more pressure on ISIS terrorists, particularly in time when the ISIS hub of Abu Kamal is about to get liberated.
