Everyone knows they are there.President of Poland Andrzej Duda has asked President of Ukraine Poroshenko to remove "people with nationalistic and anti-Polish views" from the Ukrainian politics. In particular, in an interview with Maryja Radio, Duda stated that people who openly proclaim nationalistic and anti-Polish views do not contribute to the development of relations between countries.
Thus, he expects that they will not occupy important positions in Ukrainian politics.
"Everyone knows they are there. This is a very bad sign against us from the Ukrainian side. It is unacceptable," European Pravda quotes the Polish president as saying.
Recall that yesterday the Polish Foreign Ministry invited Ukraine to look for ideology in the "heroes of Maidan and Donbass" instead of the UPA (banned in Russia.) According to Polish Foreign Minister Vashchikovsky, Ukraine must "sewttle accounts for its history."
We will also add that anti-Ukrainian sentiments are growing in Poland. This is due, in particular, to the fact that in Ukraine the Nazi-collaborating UPA is heroized, which in Poland is considered to be pro-fascist. In December 2016, the Polish government removed state funding for the portal of the Ukrainian community in Poland "for falsifying history, and for propaganda hostile to Polish statehood."
