Trump was intimidated by Putin? Claim made by ex-CIA boss - Like This Article

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed ex-CIA Director John Brennan claim that US President Donald Trump was ‘intimidated’ by Russian Putin Vladimir Putin in their last meeting.

"This is an erroneous assumption," Peskov told the media.

In an interview with CNN on Sunday, Brennan said in a CNN interview on Sunday that Trump was "intimidated" by Putin which has fueled his behavior towards Russia.

Trump is "for whatever reason, intimidated by [Putin], afraid of what he could do or what might come out as a result of these investigations," he said.

"I think he's giving Putin a pass. I think it demonstrates to Mr. Putin that Donald Trump can be played by foreign leaders who are going to appeal to his ego and to try to play upon his insecurities, which is very, very worrisome from a national security standpoint," Brennan continued.
