Together with the Syrian Arab Army, Russia's Air Force and special ops units were part of the operation to liberate the iconic Syrian city of Palmyra from Islamic State terrorists earlier this week (5th March 2017)
The operation took 1.5 months to plan and carry out. This begs the rhetorical question - What the hell were the US, their Western partners and Gulf Arab states doing in Syria for 2 whole years, under the pretext of "bombing terrorists", given the exponential growth of ISIS within that time?
