Units of the Syrian Air Force destroyed several more hideouts, gatherings and positions of ISIS terrorists, during Sunday’s intense strikes in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour.
Scores of the terrorists were killed and many of their vehicles were destroyed after Syrian jets pounded their positions south of Deir Ez Zour city.
Around the same time, clashes between the Syrian troops and ISIS terrorists broke out at the southern outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city and at the vicinity of the Deir Ez Zour Airport, during which, dozens of ISIS terrorists were left dead or wounded.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that a young male civilian managed to set ablaze an ISIS PR office in the village of Al Hattla, located north of Deir Ez Zour city.
In addition, the same sources confirmed that a terrorist, known as “Abu Torab”, and who was the local “administration official” of ISIS for Al Bagheilyeh and Ayash areas, and another terrorist Othman Sultan who used to be in charge of the ISIS PR office in Al Quoria media center, both fled the area, following intense strikes by the Syrian Army.
Saleh Mohammad Al Khleif, a senior security member of ISIS, has also escaped to the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour, while reportedly taking huge sums of money with him.
