The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the residents of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhny on the third anniversary of the seizure of these cities in the Donbass by the Ukrainian army. He expressed confidence that Kiev will regain control over the entire Donbass.
"I congratulate the residents of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhny on the third anniversary of the liberation from the occupation. Today we remember with gratitude those who returned these cities to the real world, who moved hell for tens of kilometers to the east and south and cleared the bulk of the Donbass from the invaders. Glory to the Ukrainian soldiers! Donbass was, is and will be Ukrainian!"
