60 Civilians Killed After Coalition Jets Target Residential Areas in Syria's Deir Ez Zour - Like This Article

At least 60 civilians, from the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ez Zour, were killed in a series of air raids, conducted by the US-led “anti-ISIS” international coalition.

According to the SANA news agency, the coalition jets attacked residential areas in the villages of of Al Kashmah, Shuweit, Duwair and Ashra, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.

Among the dead, there are many women and children. Lots of people were also wounded, in addition to material damage being caused. Several people lost their homes due to bombardment. 

The latest aggression comes not long after 6 people were killed and 10 more were left wounded on Friday, after the coalition jets attacked the town of Abu Kamal, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour. The raids event targeted a local hospital.

Only in last month, the US-led  international coalition has carried out several massacres against civilians in a variety of towns and villages, namely Jabour and Keshkash Ziyanat in the province of Al Hasakeh, Al Kashakiya and Taybeh in Deir Ez Zour, resulting in deaths of hundreds of civilians, mostly women, children and the elderly. 

The coalition has even admitted to have dropped the bombs, containing the internationally banned white phosphorus during July’s raids on the Syrian city of Raqqah.
