Backed by the Air Force, units of the Syrian Army carried out series of intense strikes against gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour on Thursday.
According to the field reports, clashes were raging in the surrounding ares of Deir Ez Zour Airport and at the southern axis of the city, where dozens of terrorists were killed and their equipment destroyed.
Heavy air and artillery strikes were carried against ISIS positions in the areas of Al Mawared, Al Panorama, Al Thardeh, Thardeh junction, the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour Airport, the neighbourhoods of Al Rashidiyeh and Al Hweiqah, and in the villages of Al Baghiliyeh , Al Tabani and Al Qasabi, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in terms of personnel and equipment.
