Nuclear isotopes have been found in South Korean air sample, which confirm the fact that nuclear tests have taken place there. This comes from the Commission for Nuclear Safety.
In particular, isotopes known as xenon-133 have been identified. The department said that they can not say with accuracy which type of nuclear charge was tested - whether it was plutonium or uranium.
However, no isotopes of tritium were detected. This is the substance that would accompany a hydrogen bomb explosion. Meanwhile, Pyongyang has repeatedly stated that they tested a hydrogen bomb on September 3rd.
