Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the head of the Turkish regime, has incited the Muslim countries to use all means available, in order to stop the alleged atrocities that are said to be perpetrated against Myanmar’s Rohingya minority group.

“We want to work with the governments of Myanmar and Bangladesh to prevent the humanitarian plight in the region,” said Erdogan at the opening session of an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in the Kazakh capital Astana on Sunday.

Erdogan said Turkey had offered aid, but expects that the Bangledeshi authorities will soon intervene and provide shelter for refugees.

“International organisations, and we as Muslim countries in particular, should fight together by using all means necessary to stop that cruelty,” Erdogan was heard saying.

Already before, Erdogan promised to raise the Rohingya issue at the annual meeting of UN General Assembly, scheduled to take place later this month.

The ongoing crisis in Myanmar has been going on since last month after Saudi-backed jihadist squads attacked positions of the Myanmarese Police.
Since then, dozens of civilians on both sides were killed due to escalation of violence.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan is notorious for exploiting every single opportunity to incite the Muslim-majority countries to get in row with the non-Muslim ones.
