President of Ukraine Poroshenko set the return of  Crimea to Ukraine as one of the goals for the coming year. He said this at the "Yalta European Strategy" conference in Kiev, TV channel 112 Ukraine reported.

"The list of reforms will be very long, because it is the only strategy for us - to bring peacefully not only the Donbass, but together with the visa-free regime and the Association Agreement we will return Yalta as well. In fact, we have this goal for next year," he said.

Previously, Poroshenko suggested creating an "international group of friends for the de-occupation of the Crimea."

"We have coordinated support of our partners all over the world, and I would like to propose the idea of creating an international group of friends of Crimea's de-occupation to coordinate joint actions. I plan to discuss this in detail in New York, at the UN General Assembly," the Ukrainian president explained. initiative.

We note that on September 7 Poroshenko said that he considers it unrealistic to return the Crimea by force, but he hopes to create international conditions under which Crimea will become an "unbearable weight" for Russia.

At the same time, just as in July, Poroshenko declared that Ukraine should be returned to the Crimea by Europe.
