A punisher from the nationalist unit Pravy Sektor was killed and four were wounded as a result of shelling from Ukrainian Army positions near Marinka, said Eduard Basurin, deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR.
According to Basurin, a group of Pravy Sektor militants tried to sneak into the "gray zone" south of Maryinka, however, "as they approached, Ukrainian servicemen took the bandit grouping of nationalists for enemy saboteurs. After that, fire was opened on them from mortars," said Basurin.
According to him, as a result, one security official was killed, four were wounded.
"According to the information we have, the Ukrainian military command and the SBU are preparing a series of forcible measures against uncontrolled fighters of the Pravy Sektor, added Basurin.
Earlier it became known that Pravy Sektor will go to the Belarus border to prepare provocations during the Zapad 2017 exercises.
Within the last 24 hours the observation post of the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination (SCCC) of the ceasefire in the village of Bezymenne (in the south of the Donetsk Peoples Republic) fell under the fire of Ukrainian armed formations.
