Units of the Syrian Army regained full control over the villages of Oum Sahrij, Al Harsh, Alam Sharqi, Kherbit Jeb Habel and Kherbit Al Haiwaniyeh, located in the eastern countryside of Homs province, following intense operations against gatherings and hideouts of ISIS terrorists.
According to the field reports, scores of the terrorists were left dead or wounded, in addition to destruction of their weapons and equipment.
The Army continues to pursue the terrorists who recently fled the area.
In the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, army units continued with elimination of the very last ISIS gatherings on Al Sukhneh-Deir Ez Zour axis.
A control over Al Taim oil field was also established, while heavy losses in terms of personnel and equipment were inflicted upon ISIS terrorists at the southwestern entrance of Deir Ez Zour city.
