Syrian government forces have liberated Al-Quirriyah in Deir Ezzor countryside from ISIS.
It took pro-government forces nearly the entire day to liberate Al-Quirriyah.
Al-Quriyyah was initially meant to be a fortress for the terrorist outfit, but this failed as ISIS militants were not able to establish defensive formations before the Syrian Army arrived.
The rapid Syrian Army advancement was backed with Russian airstrikes and meant that pro-government forces were able to reach the strategic town of Ash-Shara where they are making preparations to storm the town from its northern and western gates.
