The relatives of Yemeni civilians killed in recent Saudi-led airstrikes have sworn to seek revenge on the coalition that has led aggression against the war-ravaged country since early 2015.

22 of the 60 civilians killed by the deadly Saudi-led airstrikes were buried on Sunday at a funeral attended by a large number of people.

The civilians were killed when the Saudi-led coalition struck a hotel in the Arhab district to the north of the capital Sana’a on Wednesday.

“We buried them today. All these people coming here proves how angry the Yemeni people are at this crime committed against them,” said Abdullah al-Mosheki, a relative of one of the victims.

“Two of my sons were martyred in the Arhab massacre by the Saudi aggression, they were civilians though and they used to work in agriculture,” said another individual, Ahmad al-Jehizei.

He then urged for the international community “to hold the perpetrators of this crime accountable and punish them for it.”

“We will mobilize ourselves and our forces to fight on the front and take revenge,” said Ahmad Zaeid, another relative of the dead.
